  • A minimum of 24 hours’ notice is required to cancel or reschedule a lesson.

  • Cancellations made less than 24 hours before the scheduled lesson will incur a $45 late cancellation fee.

  • The late cancellation fee is payable on the day of the scheduled lesson.

No-Shows

  • If you fail to attend your scheduled lesson without prior notice, the full lesson fee may be charged at our discretion.

How to Cancel or Reschedule (More Than 24 Hours’ Notice)

  • Use the reschedule link in your booking confirmation email, or

  • Contact Rhys via text on 0431 667 792

Public Holidays - from 1/6/26

  • Public holidays are generally unavailable. If lessons are requested, a $10 per hour surcharge will be applied.

  • This policy applies to all bookings with 1UP Driving School.

Packages

  • Package lessons cannot be booked on NSW public holidays due to their discounted rate.

  • Package lessons may be forfeited and deducted from your remaining balance in the event of a no-show.

Our Standards

At 1up Driving School, everything we do is built around safety, respect, and doing things properly.

We operate in line with all relevant road laws, licensing requirements, and industry standards—and we take that responsibility seriously.

What you can expect:

A safe and supportive environment
Every lesson is run with both physical and psychological safety in mind, so you can learn without pressure or judgement.

Respect at all times
You’ll be treated with patience, honesty, and respect—regardless of your experience level, background, or how you learn.

Clear, professional instruction
Lessons are structured, practical, and focused on real progress—not just getting through the hour.

Inclusive and fair for everyone
We support learners of all types, including those with additional needs, and aim to create an environment where everyone feels comfortable and capable.

Right to refuse or discontinue lessons
1UP Driving School reserves the right to refuse service, cancel a lesson in progress, or discontinue future lessons where a learner’s behaviour compromises safety, breaches respectful conduct expectations, or prevents effective instruction.
This includes (but is not limited to) unsafe driving behaviour, abusive or threatening conduct, or repeated refusal to follow lawful and reasonable instructions from the instructor.
